Contest Rules

Effective: 22 May 2026

These are the official rules for the Growimmence Weekly Photo Contest (the "Contest"). By submitting a photo, you agree to these rules in full. Please read them carefully before entering.

1. Who Can Enter

• The Contest is open to anyone aged 13 or over, worldwide
• No purchase is necessary to enter
• Employees or immediate family members of Growimmence are not eligible
• You must have a valid email address to register

2. How to Enter

• Visit growimmence.com and scroll to the "Enter the Contest" section
• Provide your name, email address, a title for your photo, and select a category
• Upload your photo (JPG, PNG, or WEBP format, maximum 10 MB)
• Click "Enter the Contest" to submit
• Your photo will appear in the public gallery and on the billboard once approved

3. Photo Requirements

Your submitted photo must meet all of the following criteria:

• You must be the original photographer — you took the photo yourself
• You must own all rights to the photo
• The photo must not have been submitted to Growimmence in a previous week
• The photo must be your own original work — AI-generated images are not permitted
• Any subject is welcome: nature, portrait, street, travel, abstract, wildlife, architecture, and more

4. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and will be removed immediately:

• Nudity, sexual content, or material of an adult nature
• Graphic violence, gore, or disturbing imagery
• Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or harm to any individual or group
• Images that violate any copyright or intellectual property rights
• Photos containing personal information of others without their consent
• Any content that violates applicable laws

Growimmence reserves the right to remove any submission at any time without notice if it violates these rules. Repeat violations may result in a permanent ban.

5. Voting

• All site visitors may cast one (1) vote per contest entry per browsing session
• Votes are tracked to prevent duplicate voting
• Any attempt to manipulate voting through bots, scripts, or other automated means is prohibited and will result in disqualification
• Growimmence reserves the right to disqualify entries if suspicious voting activity is detected
• Votes are counted at 23:59 UTC every Sunday

6. Prizes & How the Prize Pool Works

The prize pool is split as follows:

• 1st Place (most votes): 50% of the weekly prize pool
• 2nd Place: 25% of the weekly prize pool
• 3rd Place: 25% of the weekly prize pool

If the weekly prize pool is below £5.00, prizes will be rolled over to the following week. Winners are notified by email every Monday.

7. Claiming Your Prize

• Winners are contacted via the email address provided at entry
• Winners must respond within 7 days or the prize is forfeited and awarded to the next highest vote-getter
• Prizes are paid via PayPal or UK bank transfer
• Winners must provide valid payment details to receive their prize
• Winners are responsible for any taxes applicable in their jurisdiction

8. Licence to Display

By entering the Contest, you grant Growimmence a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your submitted photo on the Site for the duration of the contest and in published results. We will not use your photo in any commercial context beyond the Site without your explicit written consent.

You retain full ownership of your photo at all times.

9. Growimmence's Rights

• Growimmence reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest at any time
• Growimmence reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these rules
• Growimmence's decisions regarding winners and prize distribution are final
• These rules may be updated — the current version always applies
